The Golden State Debate League (EBDL) was formed from schools from the old Independent Schools Debate League (ISDL) and a new group of schools. It serves schools in northern Los Angeles, the Pasadena area, and the greater Valley area including Ventura County. The league President is Katie Ward, at Polytechnic School.
